Police say 21 22-year-old Nicole Okrzesik was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in the strangulation of 19-year-old Juliana Mensch in late March.

Police say Okrzesik and James Ayers, her boyfriend, killed Mensch after getting high with her so they could rob her and use the money for more drugs; she blamed Ayers for the whole thing when police asked. Text messages show that Ayers wanted to turn them both in; she tried to dissuade him.

Okrzesik is currently in custody in St. Lucie County, according to Fort Lauderdale Police, and is awaiting extradition to Broward. There's a lot more documentation that needs to be waded through with this story, but expect much more soon.
