About a half-dozen homes have been evacuated in Cocoa, in Brevard County, after police found guns and pipe bombs in a home Friday morning, WPTV is reporting.

Police have also discovered several guns and rounds of ammunition in the home where the pipe bombs were found.

Police moved in on the area following an anonymous tip.

Police found two threaded pipes with end caps screwed on, WPTV says.

The Brevard County Sheriff's bomb squad has been called in onto the scene and police have had several of the homes around the residence evacuated.

WPTV also reports that police have two people in custody.

The home is on the 1400 block of Pineda Street, just north of Dixon Boulevard.
