A Jacksonville man named Christopher Chaney has been identified by the FBI as the man who graced the interwebs with nude photos of actress Scarlett Johansson.
He also faces 121 years in prison for allegedly doing so.
In a news conference this afternoon, the FBI announced that Chaney was arrested without incident in Jacksonville after a federal grand jury indicted him on 26 charges.
Those alleged crimes include nine counts of computer hacking, nine counts of illegal wiretapping for intercepting the emails, and eight counts of aggravated identity theft.
According to the FBI, Chaney was able to get into celebrities' emails by using publicly available information to guess passwords and security questions.
Not all of the alleged victims are named in the indictment, but a few are, including Johansson, Mila Kunis, Simone Harouche, Christina Aguilera, and Renee Olstead.
The indictment states Chaney gained access to the email accounts of more than 50 people and then set up their email accounts to automatically forward him all of their messages.
The FBI, through its investigation dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi," claims Chaney's alleged email hacking started in November 2010, according to the indictment.
Aside from the naked pictures of several of the aforementioned celebrities, the U.S. Attorney's Office says Chaney acquired financial information, movie scripts, and other private things through the celebrities' email accounts.
