In February, we brought you 26-year-old Scott Heide's YouTube dating video, in which he spends three minutes rapping things like "We'll go to Whole Foods and buy organic grapes" and "I'm not a jerk; I'm a real nice guy/I wear suits, button-ups, and nice ties." The follow-up interview revealed that he'd spent two years doing the online dating thing, but "there was just no chemistry with the girls I was going out with."

So he made the video, which has snagged more than 100,000 views in a couple of months. And, though he said he's gotten some dates out of it, there's a web-based dating show gearing up that will feature him going on even more dates.

A Pompano-based company is set to start filming Searching for Miss Right next month, Heide said, and is tentatively set to film six five-minute episodes that would feature interaction with viewers on social media.

But he was quick to say that the show would feature regular dates like dinner, dancing, and ice skating, "not like The Bachelor," where people are "skydiving, climbing up hills all the time."

And it's not too late to jump in on the action -- there's a casting call April 24 at the L.A. Fitness in Boca Raton at 4950 Technology Way from 6 to 9 p.m.

Does this dating show mean the YouTube video didn't work out?

"On the contrary, I've actually been getting a great response from the music video," he said. "I even got [contacted by] a couple of older women in their 40s... But that's not the age range that I'm looking for."

If it sounds like something you're trying to get in on, check out the show's Facebook page for more info.

"I'm hoping just to find my Miss Right out of it," Heide said. "That's my ultimate goal."
