The Sharkpocalypse is ever closer with yet another report of a person being bitten by a shark in Florida over the weekend.

This time, a shark bit a surfer in the hand near Aquarina Beach and Country Club in Brevard County.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue Lt. Gary Windham, the man almost lost four fingers.

The surfer, described as being either 49 or 50 years old, refused to speak to the media about the attack.

After the man was attacked, he walked out of the water and moseyed on over to a fire station across A1A, as opposed to screaming hysterically until we ran into a Stop sign, if it had been us who was bitten.

The surfer was treated at the fire station before being transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

He reportedly appears to be fine. Except that he almost lost four fingers.

According to a hospital spokesperson, the man was treated and left the hospital shortly before 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
