Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz must think that local tea party activists don't have Tivo. (Actually, since a lot of 'em are retirees, maybe they don't?) She just announced a town hall meeting for Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Fort Lauderdale City Hall. That means tea partiers would have to miss all of The O'Reilly Factor, then rush home to still catch part of Hannity, which comes on at 9.

Is this a socialist conspiracy to ruin Fox News ratings? Well, it's hard to prove that it isn't!

Wasserman Schultz's release says she's open to discussing "jobs, the economy, the Recovery Act, and the recently signed health insurance reform law." My God! Why not also invite the ghost of Ayn Rand so that we make sure to get every tea partier on the planet?

You can bet the activists are still pissed about last August, when Wasserman Schultz had a telephone town hall instead of doing one in person.
