Two 22-year-old brothers were shot just before 1 a.m. while driving in Belle Glade, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. One of the men was found near the intersection of SW Fifth Street and SW B Place, and the other was several blocks away in the passenger seat of the brothers' car.

"Both victims were airlifted to Delray Medical Center. One in critical condition and the other stable," wrote PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera. "No suspect information. No witnesses."

Police ask anyone with information about the shooting call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-8477.

The shooting comes less than a day after a 4-year-old was shot in the jaw while playing in a Windsor Avenue park in West Palm Beach and in the same week that two men allegedly shot at PBSO deputies in separate incidents.
