No. 77 Housemade Charcuterie from Market 17
At Market 17, the charcuterie platter changes often just like the menu. Designed around the trendy farm-to-table movement, the restaurant is dedicated to clean, organic food from sustainable sources.
The artfully presented selection of freshly prepared in-house meats usually offers a collection of sausages like hot pepper steak, beef, duck or garlic sausage. A different day may bring Canadian-style ham, salami or a rich duck pâté on toast. Then there are the delicious spreads -- a creamy garlic and an herb goat cheese which effortlessly paints across fresh crusty bread.
Caveat: Be prepared for a fight with your dining companion for the last bite.
