59. Mango Roll at Fusionarie Japanese Signature
The rolls and the sushi appetizers coming off the line at the new sushi-fusion restaurant Fusionarie Japanese Signature in Boca Raton are as beautiful to behold as they are to consume. Little flourishes and creative use of ingredients make every plate a canvas for the chef-created edible art.
Stuffed with cream cheese, avocado, asparagus, and tempura shrimp and drizzled with a sweet mango sauce, the mango roll is a cheerful dish, as fun for the eye as it is for the palate. It's a Western-style roll, to be sure, but authenticity shouldn't be the only deciding factor when something simply tastes this good. It's an indulgent, sweet, and savory contrast of soft and crunchy that will leave you wanting just one last piece.
