The Boca Raton-based brewery wants to thank everyone who has been a supporter during this first year of operation by presenting the first edition of what is planned to be an annual release for its spiced holiday ale.
For $40, partygoers will be able to sample an unlimited amount of Barrel of Monks beer, which includes the core samplings of its
"We know the holidays are a hectic time of the year," said Phil Palmisano, Barrel of Monks' marketing and brand manager. "We want you to be able to celebrate this special bottle release with your brewery family and friends from Barrel of Monks as well as be able to share this annual release during the holidays with your immediate friends and family."
As a bonus, there will be a "Christmas Beer Throwdown" area where samples of Father Christmas will be put head-to-head versus some other Belgian Christmas ales.
Holiday dress is encouraged, as "Santa will be making an appearance as well, and we will be doing Christmas photos in the brewhouse included in the price."
According to the brewery, tickets are limited to 300, and it expects a sold-out crowd, so don't wait to try to get in at the door. It'll be an intimate event by craft-beer standards.
