Clean Plate Charlie spoke to the talented -- and ridiculously good-looking -- Perry DeNicola of the Palm Lounge in Boca Raton about the after-effects of a Long Island Iced Tea and his favorite kind of bar customer. Ladies: Pay attention.

DeNicola: Rochester, MI. Tampa Catholic High School.

How long have you been in South Florida?

Eight years.

How long have you been in the industry?

Two years.

I knew I wanted to be a bartender when _______.

When I started working for the Vine in Tampa, Florida.

Favorite drink to make?

Key lime pie martini.

Least favorite drink to make?

Old fashioned.

Strangest drink requested?

Tokyo tea: vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, and Midori.

What's your favorite spirit?

Tequila.

What's your favorite thing to drink after work?

Herradera Resposado on the rocks.

What is your favorite place to drink after work?

Nippers, because it's the only place open after I'm done. 

What's the best pickup line you've heard at the bar?

"I'm scared of the dark... Can I stay at your place tonight?"

The worst?

"How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice."

Long Island iced tea: It's gonna be a long night for them.

Biggest pet peeve while working?

When the bar countertops are wet.

To be honest, I really don't have one.

One with a great story.

One that can't handle their alcohol.
