To celebrate the start of summer, Café Boulud in Palm Beach will be offering its signature Le Voyage summer tasting menu once again.

Beginning July 1 — and available through September — the rotating menu will allow guests the opportunity to enjoy a variety of island-themed dishes either à la carte or as part of a five-course pairing menu for $95 to $145 per person, says executive chef Rick Mace.

The newly renovated restaurant will be offering the five-course tasting menu in the main dining room nightly, giving guests the opportunity to choose the Voyage menu spotlighting a collection of dishes from the Caribbean.

The rotating dishes will change each month, taking guests on a flavor trip through a variety of cultural influences. In July, the opening menu will offer Martinique-inspired fare with dishes like conch ceviche, salt cod fritters, creole boudin (sausage stuffed with pork, liver, rice, and a host of aromatics and spice), poulet boucané (Caribbean-style smoked chicken), and flambé Martinique (rum and butter-soaked flambé bananas).

August will highlight African influences from the island of Jamaica, says Mace, followed by Spanish touches from Cuba during the month of September.

The five-course tasting is priced at $95 per person. Wine pairings are available for an additional $50 per person. The menu is also available à la carte as a tasting menu that can be matched with any of the Caribbean-inspired cocktails from the newly renovated bar.

Down for a good deal? The menu can also be combined with Café Boulud's "bring your own booze" promotion, available Monday through Wednesday. That means patrons can bring their own bottle of wine to the restaurant (without the worry of the usual corkage fee) for a do-it-themselves pairing dinner experience.

Café Boulud is located at the Brazilian Court Hotel at 301 Australian Ave., Palm Beach. Call 561-655-6060, or visit cafeboulud.com.
