Chris "Birdman" Andersen, the colorful Miami Heat power forward/center, has been named Hard Rock Energy Drink's spokesperson.
The drink, which comes in two flavors and a sugar-free version, is produced, marketed, and distributed by Enterprise Beverage Group, a majority-owned subsidiary of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

Andersen, best-known for both his colorful demeanor on court and his colorful tattoos, recently re-signed with the Miami Heat in July.
In a photo shoot for the beverage, held at Fort Lauderdale's C&I Studios, Andersen said the endorsement deal with the rock 'n' roll-themed drink made perfect sense because of his deep association with music. Citing one of his many tattoos, he said, "In my previous life, I think I actually was a rock 'n' roller."
Clean Plate Charlie got a taste of the shoot, which involved beautiful girls, a throne, and a complete tattoo parlor set-up.
Birdman will be featured on promotional ads and billboards for the energy drink, which is available at select convenience stores in South Florida and is slated for large-scale distribution shortly.
