Cigar City on Draft at Dania Jai Alai

Dania Jai Alai is like the ultimate Den of Iniquity: if you want vice, they've got it. There, you can gamble on ponies or poker, watch balls zip around at 150 miles-per-hour in "The World's Fastest Game," and smoke cigars to your hearts content. It's also known for its $.99 drafts and hot dogs, two draws that have made the place sort of an underground hangout for those looking to party on the cheap.

And yet, Dania Jai Alai just got a little bit cooler. Because, for a limited time only, it will be serving Cigar City Jai Alai IPA in its Sports Bar and Poker Room for the ridonculous price of $2 a pint.

In case you haven't heard, Cigar City is perhaps the most buzzed about

Florida brewer at the moment. They're located in Tampa, but until

recently, their beers have been a rarity in these parts. The fact that

Dania Jai Alai's got their killer India Pale Ale on draft is enough to

draw me into a few hands of poker right there. Even if you lose all your money on the river, the beer price still makes the deal affordable.

Thank Fresh Beer for the influx of Cigar City in South Florida. You can

now also find the IPA on draft at Abraxas in Miami and Prime Bar at the

Village at Gulfstream Park. But drinking it in a poker room, with Jai

Lai in the background, and possibly with a real cigar in hand just

sounds so damn fitting it almost makes me want to weep with joy.
