Eat Street debuts tonight on the Cooking Channel. Described as "your grease-stained road map to the ultimate street food experience," Eat Street takes viewers on a journey across the United States to find the best food trucks and carts.
Comedian James Cunningham plays host, eating his way through truck and cart to find the best food on the go.
Each show will feature four trucks. Tonight's episode highlights Schnitzel & Things in New York City (serving authentic Austrian schnitzel), the Grilled Cheese Truck in Los Angeles, Izzoz Tacos in Austin, and G'raj Mahal from Austin (serving tandoori meats, naan and other goa specialties).
South Florida's food truck scene is well-represented. Future episodes will feature the Rolling Stove, the Fish Box, and Yellow Submarine.
Food truck superfans can even download an Eat Street mobile phone app that has a truck tracker, recipes, and info on all the trucks featured on the series. Watch a preview of the show here:
