The Tastings -- This tasting will raise funds for the Women in Distress Hal Herman Children's Fund. Local restaurants will contribute bites -- Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Village Tavern, and Sur La Table are some of the participants -- and wine and beer samples will be available. Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The tasting is 6 to 8 p.m. at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens, 527 SW 145th Terrace, Pembroke Pines.

Thursday:

Dogfish Head Brew Night -- The increasingly successful craft brewer will launch a mini tap takeover from 7 to 9 p.m. at World of Beer on Clematis in West Palm Beach. Friday
:

City Link Boca BeerFest -- This beer festival in Boca Raton will feature more than 100 brews, both domestic and international, with a showing of wines. Food trucks like Ms. Cheezious, Latin Burger, Jefe's Original Fish Tacos, the Rolling Stove, Nacho Mama's Grill, and Aphrodisiac Ice Cream will be on-site. The event is 6 to 11 p.m. in Mizner Park. Admission is $20 for general admission if you order by Thursday or $25 at the gate (cash only). VIP admission is $35 and $40, respectively. Live music.

Saturday:
