Your local brewery wants you to join "The Club."
Due South Brewing Company, the Boynton Beach brewing powerhouse, will be opening its wide-embracing arms to 100 lucky people to join its just announced 'members-only' club with a membership rate of $75 a year.

Unfortunately, membership won't protect your car from thieves (stick with the original Club for that), but it will allow you access to some pretty nifty perks. Like what, you ask? Check out this list:
- 20 ounce pours on most Due South beers
- Membership Card
- 'The Club' t-shirt
- 'The Club' 20 ounce glass to take home
- Access to members only events
- Early access to special bottle releases
- Access to special members-only bottle releases
"We've been waiting to do this since our beginning," Michael Jurewicz, Brewery Operations Manager, told us. "It's unfortunately been on our back burner for a while, so Mike [Halker] just said 'Let's do it'."
As for the specifics of the swag, he said that the shirts will be done specifically to each member's size; one member, one shirt, no extras. Limited indeed! Also, the special bottle releases will be determined as the year progresses; it will be a great opportunity to potentially try out some amazing experimental beers.
Following in the footsteps and traditions of other breweries, including Oakland Park's Funky Buddha Brewery which has a snifter club, the Due South team will be holding sign ups for the limited numbered spots this Friday, August 2nd, starting at 6 p.m.
If you don't make it in, don't worry, for the night won't be a complete failure. Three specialty beers will be released as well: Rum Barrel Aged One Eyed Tiki, Bourbon Barrel Espresso Porter, Apple Brandy Barrel Aged Pico Duarte Imperial Stout. As is usual for Friday nights, a food truck will be on site (Lucille's on Wheels) to keep beer lovers fed.
"We chose to name it 'The Club' because it's just a straight forward name," Jurewicz explained. "There's nothing complicated about it."
