Mojo on the Go: Gator Tail on a truck
Hey, Broward County food truck fans, are you ready for your close up? Don't worry because you've still got a few days to get a haircut and wash a clean t-shirt before the Eat St. crew heads over to Sawgrass Recreation Park to film a segment for their new season.
The Cooking Channel show, which features food trucks and the eaters who love them, will be at Sawgrass Recreation Park on Saturday, July 13 from noon to 3 p.m., filming the Mojo on the Go food truck. The truck, owned by Tony "Mojo Man" Fernandez, brings a bit of the big easy to south Florida by serving up authentic Creole and traditional southern cuisine.
The show, which is known for its fast editing skills, is currently
seeking food truck fans to come down for the filming. Your requirement
to get into show business? Mad eating skills.
If you think you've
got what it takes (which is, quite simply, the ability to eat heartily
and describe your meal in front of a camera), then you've got the
makings of a star.
If you haven't done so before, this is also
your opportunity to check out the only south Florida food truck that we
know of to have gator tail and frogs legs on the menu full time!
Just
in case you'd like to rehearse for your big television debut, check out
Mojo on the Go tonight at the food truck roundup at Hollywood Arts Park
from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
