Behind our favorite red door in Delray Beach is a new reason to order some small plates and big drinks. The Falcon House has launched a Friday-night jazz series with live, improvised jazz from some of South Florida's jazz veterans and their friends, running from 9 p.m. until after midnight. On Saturdays, Falcon House is offering a soul and pop series with singer/songwriter Griffin Anthony starting at 9:30 p.m.

While you're there, sip on the angel food cake martini ($9), the Falcon lemonade with Van Gogh acai blueberry vodka ($10), or the five-sip Manhattan ($11). For noshing, there are the fish tacos ($15), pulled pork sliders ($14), warm chocolate decadent dessert ($8), and the Mississippi mud pie with chocolate fudge sauce ($8).
