Chocolate is the one vice you can do indulge in anywhere. Think about it -- when was the last time you brought a nice Pinot Noir to the office or lit up at the PTA meeting? But you can break out a nice piece of 70% cacao.
If you love chocolate as much as we do, then you're going to want to head out to the Festival of Chocolate at the Palm Beach County Convention Center this weekend.
The Festival of Chocolate allows you to become Willy Wonka, as you learn
about chocolate and its origins, all the while stuffing your face.
Learn the fine art of pairing chocolate with wine or how to cook with
chocolate at one of the many classes and demonstrations (some classes
require an additional ticket).
Watch master chefs and bakers create one-of-a kind pieces at the
demonstrations and competitions and participate in one of the fun
activities like chocolate bingo or cookie stacking.
After looking at all this chocolate, it's time to eat some. Some of the
best bakers and chefs will be on hand selling their wares. The official
currency of the festival are chocolate coins, which are available for
purchase in advance or at the show.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for kids 2-12. Chocolate treats range
from $1-$5 and chocolate coins are sold in $1 increments. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday, November 19th (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and 20th (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.).To purchase
