Judging from this past week, and the usual summer weather patterns, it's going to be a wet one this weekend -- yet again. Fortunately, South Floridians plan ahead with indoor events. Or just deal with deal with inclement weather, it works either way. If you're looking for fun food-related events for the end of the workweek, we have a list of the five best in Broward and Palm Beach.

5. Little Black Dress Night
The weather might be subpar, but that doesn't mean you have to dress for rain. On Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m., all Blue Martini locations are hosting the bar's annual little black dress party. Benefitting the Junior League, the event will feature designer giveaways, a free drink, and a raffle ticket for the ladies. Men are charged a $10 admission fee after 8 p.m.

4. Crown Wine Tastings
Wine tastings are the classiest way to drink -- and hey, we're not complaining. Throughout the weekend Crown Wine and Spirits is hosting $15 tastings throughout its stores. Each tasting takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. and offers more than 40 wines. Friday, the tastings take place in Vero Beach (6350 20th St. Call 772-564-9863) and Hollywood (3363 Sheridan St. Call 954-987-9463). Boynton Beach (532 SE 15th Ave Call 561-734-9463) is on Saturday.

3. Artserve's RedEYE 2013
Some events are worth braving potential rain. On Friday, Artserve's 8th annual RedEYE event is bringing underground art to the gallery. Organizers are expecting more than 1,500 people to attend. To bring in the foodie component -- food is art, right -- the event will feature food trucks Friar Tucks, Veggie Xpress, Frankie Gourmet Dogs, and Miami-based Dolci Peccati.

2. Decoy/ Duckhorn Wine Tasting
American exceptionalism isn't a perception: it's a fact. Celebrate the it in all its glory Friday at the Rustic Cellar. The restaurant will be pairing light bites to the much-beloved Decoy and Duckhorn wines from Napa Valley -- okay, they do specialize in Bordeaux style wines. The cost to attend is $40 per person. 1. Penny Beer Night
Craft beer may be many things, but it certainly isn't cheap. On Friday night, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Whole Foods Market Coral Springs is offering one cent draft beers with purchase from the pub menu items, such as cheeseburger sliders, a portobello burger, avocado wrapped ceviche, Chesapeake crab cakes with frizzled green beans, at the bar. Drafts include Native Lager, Dogfish Head Positive Contact, Due South Brewing Honey Wheat, Cigar City Maduro Brown Ale, Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, Sierra Nevada Belgian Blonde Ale, Delerium Tremens, and Crispin Dry Cider.
