5. Harvest Hoedown
We can admit it: South Florida is kind of country. Whether you love it or hate it, it's just the way it is; you might as well jump on that horse drawn hay covered bandwagon. In celebration of the whole cowboy culture, Boynton Beach is hosting its Harvest Hoedown on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. From country music to Southern food to plenty of beer from Due South Brewery - that's right, those country folk enjoy a good craft brew - it might just be the perfect opportunity to catch your date in a hot pair of cowboy - or girl - boots. 4. Fifth-Annual Sea Coast Toast Fundraiser
Seafood is kind of a big deal in South Florida. Unfortunately, the oceans are need in of a little TLC. To raise funds, Friends of Gumbo Limbo are hosting a benefit on the rooftop of the Spanish River Library on Friday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. World-renowned marine photographer and conservationist Jim Abernathy will be honored while guests nosh on hors d'oeuvres and desserts, as well as wines provided by Whole Foods Market Boca Raton. Lagerhead Brewing Co will provide craft beer. The cost to attend is $55.

3. Gobble Wobble Pub Crawl
Halloween is over, which means you no longer have an excuse for your weekend binge drinking; unless, of course, you head down to the Gobble Wobble Pub Crawl this Saturday. Starting at 4 p.m., the pub crawl visits six Fort Lauderdale bars, each of which will be offering up a different drink. Admission to the crawl is only $25 in advance, $35 at the door and all proceeds benefit the Leadership Broward Foundation and iTRACE Foundation, Inc. Registration is available online until Friday evening or at the first two crawl stops until 7 p.m. -- the crawl is limited to 200 drinking pilgrims. The crawl starts at American Social from 4 to 5:30 p.m., then moves to Wild Sea Oyster Bar from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

2. John Offerdahl's Broward Health Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Tailgate Festival
We may have plenty of sports teams in South Florida, but one reigns supreme, the Miami Dolphins. As part of John Offerdahl's Gridiron Grill-Off, the festival is pairing up 25 Miami Dolphins with top chefs from across South Florida in the ultimate culinary throw down on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pompano Beach Amphitheatre. Tickets start at $20.

1. Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival
Delray Beach is known as the foodie capital of Broward and Palm Beach counties. So, any food festival in Delray is going to be a tasty affair. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Delray Beach is hosting its Second Annual Wine and Seafood Festival.
