Are you ready for Mother's Day? What about some anniversary brews? Even if you don't care about any of the myriad celebratory offerings this weekend, you're going to have to eat something.

We perused the highs and lows of the Broward-Palm Beach area and cooked up this tasty menu of awesome destinations. Whether you're looking to walk around and consume copious drinks, celebrate mom with a special meal, or just hang our with some bros, this list has everything you need.

5. Dudes Night

We've all heard of ladies night, but, apparently, men like free drinks too. Here's a chance for men to win free booze. C&I Studios is hosting a night for those with xy chromosomes. The man party starts at 8 p.m. Ladies are, obviously, welcome to join in on the fun.

4. Friday Night Wine Club

By the time Friday rolls around, we could all use a nice glass of wine. But if one is good, more is better -- why not go for 35? The second Friday of every month, Whole Foods Market in Pembroke Pines hosts its Friday Night Wine Club. For $10 per person, sample more than 35 wines while snacking on refreshments. The stores wine specialist is even on hand to assist with pairing suggestions. (Consider it an educational excursion.) It takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

3. Sam Adams: Cheers to 30 years! Back to Boston Bar Crawl & Tap Takeover

Boston is about 1,500 miles away. Rather than head to New England to celebrate Sam Adams big 3-0, head to Lake Worth instead. The downtown area is hosting a Boston-themed pub crawl to honor the famed Boston brewery -- and it's doing so by paying tribute to the decade in which it was born, the '80's. Starting at Havana Hideout at 6 p.m., the crawl includes costume contests, a poker run, and, obviously, lots and lots of beer. Tickets are $5 pre-sale, $10 the day of the event. 2. Mother's Day

Time to show mom some appreciation for torturing her through your awkward (and bitchy) teenage years. Here are some places to buy her a meal:

Chima Brazilian Steakhouse is honoring mom at lunch and dinner with classic endless rodizio and gourmet salad bar options. To keep the little ones occupied, it's passing out Mother's Day cards to color. And to help mom relax, it's featuring a selection of specialty cocktails for $11 a piece, including mimosas, kiwi martinis topped with champagne, and Godiva chocolate martinis.

Voodka is serving a special prix fixe meal for mom, starting on Saturday night and running all day Sunday -- hey, the lady probably needs a night on the town. For $42 per person, it includes a glass of wine and three courses of trans-continental brasserie fare.

Tanzy is offering a free mimosa for brunch or a complimentary dessert during dinner with any a la carte menu option for mom.

1. Second Birthday

Everyone loves a birthday -- as long as it's not 30 and up. And South Floridians also love their beer. Here's your chance to celebrate the second birthday of Due South. Taking place from noon to 11 p.m., the Boynton Beach brew house is kicking off the festivities with special tappings of over 30 beers, some of which have never been released previously. (Hint: pineapple, chile, and peanut butter may be included.) Brews will be available for purchase with drink tickets. Credit card purchase will be available, but organizers warn that cash lines should be quicker. BC Tacos and Lucille's on Wheels will be onsite all day, but guests are allowed to bring food, if desired. To make the day run smoothly no growler fills, flights, samples, or tours will be available for the day. Carpooling is highly recommended. All attendees must be 21 or older after 6 p.m.
