From the depths of the street art covered warehouses of Miami's latest gentrified arts district, Wynwood Brewing Company is the first brewery to set up shop in Wynwood.
Opened in 2013 by Luis G. Brignoni and his father Luis C. Brignoni, the 15 barrel brewhouse pumps out three core beers (including this one) and a plethora of special releases.

For our #FloridaBeerFriday this week, we're looking at the self-titled Wynwood IPA, an American-style India Pale Ale that sits at 70 IBUs and 7.2% abv.
The beer utilizes British crystal malts and a slew of American hops, including a generous dry hopping schedule.
This IPA is dark, probably from the specialty grains introduced into the mash. It pours a deep copper color. The aroma is bitter citrus mixed with some dank earthiness. It's initially a little on the sweet side (by a small margin) which transitions into a light and thin body, ending with some moderate lingering bitterness.
The 7.2% abv of this beer is fairly hidden, and I would expect on a warm Florida day that one could easily down a couple of these and ride a nice buzz for a while.
Wynwood IPA can be found on draft in bars across Palm Beach and Broward counties.
