Nearly half a dozen spots in Broward and Palm Beach.
The Hours: Monday - Friday, 4-6 p.m.
The Deets: Cheesecake offers a small plates menu with more than a dozen restaurant favorites, including the roadside sliders and the guacamole made to order. Homemade mojitos, spiked pink lemonade, select wines and bottle beers are on the discounted specialty drinks menu. Also available are well liquor and draft beers.
The Scene: Most of the time, The Cheesecake Factory is pretty loud, but that's only because they sit hundreds of people at once. Since happy hour lasts before most people are considering venturing out, it's a relaxed atmosphere and relatively peaceful, especially if you sit on the patio.
The Cost: The small plates range from $3.95- $5.95. The specialty drinks go for $5 and the well liquor and draft beer go for $4.
The Verdict: I usually visit Cheesecake just for the food, but the adult version of the pink lemonade is delicious. The restaurant is known for serving insanely large portions, the step back (and the cheaper bill) make it easier on the guest to spare a few more dollars for a good drink.
