As you may know, Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton are to be wed on April 29. It's time to gather all your mates and celebrate the royal ceremony!

Please do not even consider using the rubbish that has been collecting dust in the back of your cupboard -- an occasion such as this requires only the finest teas, booze, and pastries.

 

So where is a Yankee to find the suitable components for this royal celebration?

Fear not, my humble fellow Americans. Listed here are the appropriate recipes and a local English market to assist you with your mission on planning the perfect tea party!

The Drambuie English Rose Cocktail

In a Champagne flute, add:

1 Sugar Cube

3 drops Orange Bitters

1 oz. DRAMBUIE

Slowly top with: 4 oz. chilled Blanc de Noirs Champagne

 

Splash Campari 3 drops Rosewater Garnish with a thinly-sliced strawberry fanned and floated on top.

Kate's Old Borrowed Blue

 

2 oz. of tea-infused standard Russian vodka

0.25 oz Vermouth

6 Blueberries

Rinse a chilled martini glass in vermouth. Combine tea-infused Russian standard vodka and ice in a shaker and strain into glass. Garnish with blueberries.

*To make tea-infused vodka, submerge two English Breakfast tea bags in a bottle of Russian standard vodka. Let sit overnight and serve.
