Trick-or-treating is hard work - first you have to dress up as your favorite monster, comic book character or Disney princess. Then you have to scour the neighborhood for the good candy, while avoiding the people who give out pennies and black licorice. It works up quite the appetite.

Luckily, there are two south Florida restaurants serving kids for free. So before you take the little monsters out for a night of begging for treats, scare up a little grub at these restaurants.

Kids in costume will get a free children's meal with the purchase of an adult meal at all Tijuana Flats locations this Monday. The offer is good all day on October 31st only. One free kid's meal per adult (so don't bring the entire soccer team).  The restaurant is also giving out free Halloween trick-or-treat meals with every kid's meal.  The offer is good at all Tijuana Flats locations.

Kids eat free at Applebees on Halloween, as well (no costume necessary). The casual restaurant chain is offering up to two free kids' meals per adult (good if you have twins) all day on October 31st. The offer is good for children 12 and under at all Miami-Dade and Broward Applebee's locations. Click here for a restaurant near you.
