Bust out the plywood and the Sterno -- Hurricane Grill and Wings is coming to Boca Raton.
The chain known for its 30 flavors of hot wings and affinity for microbrew is kicking off its latest, corporate-owned location in the Palms Plaza (22191 Powerline Road, Boca Raton). A week's worth of festivities will also begin tonight, including steel drum performances and a glimpse at the Hurricane Racer, a fully functional race car that will be parked out front.
As far as size, you could call the Boca location a category five. Its
over 4400-square-feet of space features two full-service bars slinging
cocktails and micro-brew, one located inside the restaurant and the
other on a sizable patio. This Hurricane Grill and Wings will also be
the first to sell many of its 30 sauces in prepackaged jars. It will
also offer curb side to-go service and a Flavor Rewards loyalty program
that gives customers points per dollar spent at the store. The
restaurant will offer much more than wings, including local mahi mahi,
half-pound Angus steak burgers, and iron skillet salmon.
Hurricane Grill and Wings is open Sunday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday until 2 a.m.
