Food truck rallies have been the norm lately -- massive gatherings of a dozen or more trucks that draw thousands at a time. These rallies have brought trucks up to Broward on a consistent basis for the past month now, and on multiple days of the week. I tell you what: I've been eating so many tacos, gourmet sandwiches, and Asian food this month, that if this keeps up, they're going to need to park a liposuction truck at the rallies too.

Well loosen the belt up another notch, Nancy. The non-stop food truck rallying continues tonight, this time at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Starting at 6 p.m. and running until 11, nearly two dozen trucks will be vending food in the "Paradise" lot. Of course, there's free parking for all comers, plus the casino will be showing game two of the NBA finals. Bring a blanket, some lawn chairs, some drinks for the gang, and revel in the firepower of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. Good times.

Oh, I didn't even tell you the best part yet: The Hard Rock will be hosting these rallies every Thursday all summer long. Goddamn, that's good news. Especially since the line-up features such Miami-centric trucks as...

La Camonera and Sugar Rush.

I'm betting most Broward-based food truck enthusiasts have yet to try La Camonera. Which is a shame, because it's one of my favorite trucks. It makes fresh fish sandwiches, Cuban style, using local fish (including some righteous snapper) sourced from a fish market run by the same owners.

Sugar Rush we recently gave a 100 Favorite Dishes award to, for its stellar G.O.A.T. cookies (greatest of all time). These confections stuff fudge inside of already remarkable chocolate chip cookies -- they can't be missed. But then again, you may also want one of their shakes, which are seriously killer as well.

Also in attendance - the Rolling Stove, a truck that makes the greatest burger on four wheels, period. Another can't miss truck.
