Here's your chance to meet the Steve Martorano, the man behind Fort Lauderdale's celebrity-frequented eatery, Cafe Martorano in Oakland Park. He also runs a Martorano's in Las Vegas and another here at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood -- home to his Martorano's Italian-American Kitchen.

On Saturday, you can ask the tough guy his secret behind his award-winning meatballs. He has won New Times' Best Of awards, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel, and Gourmet magazine dubbed his meaty balls as possibly the best in the world. Not so bad for a DJ-turned-self-taught chef.

The tattooed chef and restaurateur will swing by Crown Wine & Spirits this Saturday in Fort Lauderdale to sign his book, Yo Cuz! My Life. My Food. My Way.  From 5 to 7 p.m., attendees can meet the meatball impresario while sampling a variety of wines. The event is free.

When you see our favorite Italian-American cousin, tell him Clean Plate Charlie says, "Yo!"
