My steak is bigger than your steak.
Super-corporate, super-expensive, super-good Morton's Steakhouse cuts the ribbon on a brand new (and totally unnecessary) Fort Lauderdale branch on December 14. That's at 500 E. Broward Blvd -- which, we suppose, will be a convenient spot for the few local carnivores who always secretly resented driving those extra 25 minutes to the Boca location. This opening begs a philosophical question at least as interesting as any steak: Do the rich people who regularly lay out $50 for an entrée really care about gas money? And, if so, is that the kind of anal-retentive behavior that made them rich in the first place?
