Beerfest also includes a homebrewer's competition, where beer hobbyists can enter their brews for a chance to win a one-on-one afternoon mentorship with Jonathan Wakefield, founder of J. Wakefield Brewing in Miami. (To enter or for more information, contact Chesi Argibay, New Times social media and marketing manager, at [email protected]).
Tickets for Beerfest cost $30 for general admission, which allows you unlimited sampling from 7 to 10 p.m. VIP tickets are already sold out, but there's a way to get additional perks (and lots more beer).
Announcing the Brewmaster ticket, which allows you entry to Beerfest at 6 p.m. Not only will you have access to an additional hour of beer sampling but you'll also be able to sample a variety of special brews that will be tapped only from 6 to 7 p.m. That means that special, rare selections (including some homebrewers' selections) will be available only for Brewmaster and VIP ticket holders. Brewmaster tickets cost only $45 and available now -- but hurry, because supplies are limited.
