Amazing what you'll find out reading Miami New Times. Apparently we're putting on a terribly cool culinary event on September 10th: Iron Fork, in which "Top Chefs Battle Head to Head for the Prestigious Golden Fork Award." Who knew?

Celeb judges include Susser, Dean James Max, Clay Conley, Zach Bell, and Michelle Bernstein -- evidently there's some food involved somehow, and some vendors, and some music, and an after party at The Forge, and a D.J. Tickets are available now, at $20, HERE.

Anyhoo, here's the breakdown from our marketing mavens:

"The Iron Fork event will showcase some of Miami's most popular chefs as they face off in a head-to-head cooking competition that will be judged by local area celebrities. During the exciting cooking competition, guests will enjoy cocktails, live music, and food samplings from a number of the city's best restaurants. Tickets are $20 in advance at newtimesironfork.com, $25 at the door."

Pencil me in.

Oh, BTW, the event is at the Miami Science Museum.
