The Broward County Convention Center will turn into foodie central this Thursday evening, when New Times' Pairings takes over.
On Thursday, September 26 from 7 to 10 p.m., your favorite Broward restaurants like El Jefe Luchador, Market 17, Rebel House, Tap 42, and Steak 954 will tempt you with delicious food -- each paired with wines carefully curated by Wine Watch wine boutique.
There's also a beer garden, beer and food pairings, crafted cocktails, and live entertainment, making Pairings one of the best evenings -- and values -- of the year.
General admission tickets are $45 in advance, and VIP tickets (which get you in to the fun an hour early, at 6 p.m. and allow you access to the special VIP area) are only $80. Visit ticketfly.com to purchase online, and use code "PAIRINGS" at checkout, and take $10 off your general admission tickets!
Want a pair of tickets but the dog ate your credit card? We have one last pair of General Admission tickets to give away to one of our readers.
Since Halloween is right around the corner, tell us why you want to "scare up" a pair of free tickets by telling us the scariest thing that's ever happened to you! Did you encounter a ghost? Were you stranded on Mount Everest with a snowstorm approaching? Did you run out of beer at a party?
Simply tell us in the "comments" section of this blog post your most terrifying experience -- and be sure to leave an email address, Facebook, or Twitter account so we can contact you if you win. Scare the pants off of us, and you'll win the tickets!
We'll announce the winner tomorrow at noon -- and your tickets will be at will call at the event! Updated: Congrats to Elisa. Your "furry tale" was more startling than frightening! You won the tickets to Pairings.
