Purple People Eatery - good food, friendly monster. |
Chefs Michelle Duncan and David Shipman named their truck, Purple People Eatery after the 1950's novelty song.
The truck features chef-driven slow food, each with a distinct flair. Burgers are made with lean bison meat ($6-$8), Mahi Miami, a take on the fish taco, features a breaded mahi finger in a flour tortilla topped with chipotle slaw and pineapple-jalapeno salsa ($4). Vegetarians will go for the Club Med, a veggie-stuffed pita with a Greek flair ($7) and everyone will love the Mac n' Jack, a classic macaroni and cheese with brocolli and four cheese ($5). Tame the monster tonight at The Seminole Hard Rock's roundup.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's weekly food truck roundup continues tonight. From 5:30 - 10:00 p.m., enjoy over two dozen food trucks serving everything from burgers to macaroni and cheese. Free parking, a movie under the stars and the nearness to blackjack and booze make this a weekly event not to be missed.
