If you're a fan of food trucks, head on down to Fort Lauderdale's Esplanade Park for an evening of food, music, and fun on the river when Riverwalk Trust presents "Gourmet in the Park."
The fun starts this evening, July 27 at 5 p.m., when 15 of South Florida's best food trucks will serve up every kind of street food imaginable.
If you like seafood, you can have your choice of sushi from the Red Koi, fish tacos from Jefe's Original Fish Taco, or a bounty of fish from the Fish Box.
Meat fans will enjoy burgers from Latin Burger, slow-braised beef from Mr. Good Stuff and Slow Food Truck, and grilled sandwiches from the Rolling Stove.
Fans of Mexican cuisine can enjoy Nacho Mama's and Nacho Bizness, while Dim Ssäm á GoGo will please fans of Asian-fusion dishes.
Both CheeseMe and Ms. Cheezious will be in the house to serve their cheesy goodness, and Big Kahuna, Sugar Rush, and Sugar Yummy Mama will dole out the treats.
Acoustic Contrast will provide live music at the gazebo, and sponsor Stephens Distributing has donated beer, so if you make a donation to Riverwalk Trust, you'll be given a drink ticket good for a cold brew.
