In honor of National Burger Month, Rok:Brgr will once again be offering its most extravagant burger, each prepared with a special beef blend and super gourmet toppings.
The $50 burger is only available for the month of May, what has become an annual tradition of sorts for the past several years, according to JEY Hospitality director of marketing Matt Walsh. Judging by years past, each restaurant location will serve about three a day.
"The idea came about when we were playing around in the kitchen with some different burger combinations and recipes. The ingredients were getting pricey, but it sounded so good," says Walsh. "So we decided to do a burger that would blow people's minds."
The newest incarnation of Rok:Brgr's $50 burger will be available at all restaurant locations including Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale, and South Miami, through the month of May. The 10-ounce burger will feature a special blend of ground Kobe, brisket, and chuck. To amp things up, a fresh blood orange marmalade will be paired with a specialty imported truffle-cream brie cheese and Hudson Valley foie gras.
The final topping is the most decadent: a tableside service of shaved summer truffles. From there, it's piled together between fresh brioche buns, and served with a large side of truffle fries.
And hey, this is National Burger Month. After you start with a $50 indulgence, why not spend the rest of it working your way through the best burgers in Broward and Palm Beach?
