car, were not hit by any of the bullets. Police are interviewing them

at the restaurant, but have not confirmed their identity. The shots apparently came from another car traveling eastbound on Las Olas Boulevard.

Clean Plate Charlie

Updated: A Fort Lauderdale Police Department press release confirms the driver of the vehicle as "William  L. Roberts, a resident of the City of Davie". Rick Ross' real name is William Leonard Roberts II.  Fort Lauderdale police have also identified the passenger as Shateria L. Moragne-el.

The statement states that "preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2011 silver Rolls Royce was traveling eastbound on East Las Olas Boulevard, approaching southeast 15th Avenue. The occupants of the Rolls Royce heard multiple gunshots being fired in their direction. The driver of the Rolls Royce attempted to drive away from the direction of the shots being fired and lost control of the vehicle, striking a nearby apartment building."
