It's cue up more 'cue for Smokehouse Grill & Wingery, the East Boca barbecue joint of Mark Uffer and Erik Frasco, who are launching their second Smokehouse out in West Boca come July.
The new Smokehouse will take over the former Thirsty Turtle seafood eatery on Yamato Road. The much larger space will more than double the size of its North Federal Highway parent and will allow the 'Cue Two to almost triple their barbecue output, being able to slow-smoke some 90 slabs of ribs, 70 pork loins, 50 briskets, 30 turkeys, and 120 chickens simultaneously.
The menus at both locations will be basically the same, with an emphasis in the west on family-friendly dishes and affordable lunch specials. There will be vegetarian offerings and kids' fare too, including a PB&J milk shake (though I'm waiting for the pulled pork martini).
