Hoppy beers, spicy balls, and drink-slinging firefighters; all in all, not a bad week for dining and drinking in South Florida. After the jump, find a roundup of food and drink events -- including a lot of beer-oriented happenings -- in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Southern Tier Bier Dinner
It's not a German brewer, but Biergarten Boca Raton will devote a night to Southern Tier with a four-course pairing menu for $35 per person (plus tax and tip).
