Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate — or better yet, a drink or three.

Whether you're looking to meet Dan Aykroyd and drink some of his Crystal Head vodka, want to take a brewery bus tour, or celebrate German Heritage Week, there's plenty for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

German Heritage Week
The United German American Society of South Florida will be hosting its official German Heritage Weekend at the club grounds in Lake Worth this weekend on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22. On Saturday, enjoy Heimatabend, a cultural evening hosted by the American German Club of Central Florida from 6 to 11 p.m. Admission is $39 per person (children under 12 get in for $10 each), and includes dinner and two drinks. On Sunday, the United German American Society will host its German Heritage Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the day-long event is $27.50 (children under 12 get in for $10 each), and includes a meal, iced tea, and coffee. The German American Club is located at 5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth. Call 561-967-6464, or visit americangermanclub.org.

Barrel of Monks Brewing Tap Takeover at Coffee District
Love beer? Love being the first out of all your friends to try new beer releases? Well, this Saturday you can beat all of them to it by stopping by Coffee District in Delray Beach this Saturday at 7 p.m. for the first chance to try Barrel of Monks Brewing. This will be their fist tap takeover event, and one of your only chances to try the Boca Raton-based brewery's beers out before their official grand opening extravaganza on March 28. The tap takeover will feature five drafts, including their White Wizard Witbier (5.5% ABV), Nuance Saison (6.5% ABV), Abbey Terno Dubbel (7.5% ABV), Three Fates Tripel (9% ABV), and Quadraphonic Quadrupel (10.5% ABV). So what are you waiting for? Drink like a (Belgium-loving) local, and get to the Coffee District for beer bragging rights. The Coffee District is located at 325 NE Second Ave., Delray Beach. Call 561-276-8995, or visit mycoffeedistrict.com.

Brew Bus Fort Lauderdale Sampler Tour
Tours are fun. Beer is good. A four-hour beer tour is even better. From 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday, March 20, you can enjoy both during the Brew Bus sampler tour. On the weekly brew Bus Sampler Tour you'll get a behind the scenes look at some of the best breweries South Florida has to offer. Each stop includes two 4-ounce samples at each brewery, a complimentary craft beer from Brew Bus Brewing at check in, and roundtrip transportation from Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park. The bus departs from Funky Buddha and continues on to The Mack House in Davie, LauderAle in Fort Lauderdale, and returns to Funky Buddha. Virgin Homebrew Competition at Craft Beer Cartel
This weekend, Fort Lauderdale's Craft Beer Cartel is hosting its very first newbie home brew face-off with its first Virgin Home Brew competition. The inaugural event is giving budding home brewers a platform to share their brews with both seasoned professionals and craft beer fans. The competition will feature only brewers who are competing for the first time, according to Craft Beer Cartel cofounder Adam Fine. The best part: drinking all that brew. Spectators are invited to join in on the fun. A $5 ticket to the event will get you samples of each of the new homebrews. You can purchase them the day of the event. The competition will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 21. Craft Beer Cartel, located at 557 SW 12th Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Visit facebook.com/craftbeercartel.com.

Meet-and-Greet With Dan Aykroyd at Stache
Meet Dan Aykroyd. Well, meet Dan Aykroyd and drink his vodka, that is. The actor and — apparently, creator of an über-premium vodka — is on his way to South Florida for appearances on Friday, March 20, to promote his top-shelf Crystal Head Vodka. The skull-shaped bottles cost between $40 to $50 each. Find them at local Total Wine and ABC liquor stores. The official meet and greet will go down at ABC Wine and Spirits in Sunrise, and later at Stache in downtown Fort Lauderdale, an evening that will include a performance by the South Florida-based Blues Brothers Soul Band, which launched a record earlier this week. Aykroyd will do two meet-and-greets on Friday, March 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at ABC Fine Wine and Spirits (2611 NW 124th Ave., Sunrise, 954-846-2414). The second 8 p.m. appearance coincides with a performance by the South Florida-based Blues Brothers Soul Band at Stache. Tickets are $9 on Ticketmaster. Stache is located at 109 SW Second Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-449-1044 or go to stacheftl.com.
