Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to drink some interesting beer, celebrate the earth, or stimulate those braincells with South Florida trivia while drinking, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.

Monday

3-Day Baking 101 Series

Just because you know how to cook, it doesn't mean you know how to bake. Learn how to make your own baked goods starting on Monday at Publix Aprons Cooking School in Plantation. Starting at 6 p.m. for three consecutive weeks, the staff will be going over the ins and outs of a number of homemade recipes. The cost to attend is $150. Visit publix.com/aprons.

Sauces 101

When it comes to showing off in the kitchen, it all comes down to the sauce. On Monday at 7:30 p.m., Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School is hosting a basic sauce class. Tuesday

A Night of South Florida Trivia with WLRN

If you think you know everything there is to know about South Florida -- or you just love WLRN, or beer -- this is your event. Earth Day at Kapow!

We celebrate a bunch of ridiculous holidays -- pizza with everything but anchovies is actually one -- it's time to celebrate one that matters. Tuesday is Earth Day. To honor the planet Kapow! Taste of the Nation Palm Beach 2014

Eating great food from esteemed chefs is always enjoyable. Eating great food from esteemed chefs while helping a good cause is even better. On Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Taste of the Nation Palm Beach is bringing people together for Share Our Strength, a fight to end childhood hunger. Co-chairs Chef Lindsay Autry, Chef Zach Bell, Chef Clay Conley and Chef Allen Susser will be hosting the event while guests sample food and drinks from 35 of the areas best restaurants. The cost to attend is $100. VIP tickets are $150, which includes early entrance at 6:30 p.m. The event takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Kravis Center of the Performing Arts. Young Pros Beauty and The Feast Social

Legacy Place Food and Wine Festival

If you're looking to enjoy food, wine, and a little outside time before summer sends everyone indoors, Legacy Place Food and Wine Fest is combining all of the above.
