Monday

Burger Mondays

About this time you're probably nursing the left-overs of your weekend hangover. Some grease would probably help out. Starting at 4 pm, Tap 42 will be offering their weekly $5 burger specials. Prohibition burgers and veggie burgers go for just 5 bucks. That should make you feel better about the week ahead.

Vega Sicilia Tasting

Think you've had the chance to sample amazing wine? We know you love your Arbor Mist and all, but this kind of wine tasting doesn't come by often. Starting at 7pm, Wine Watch is hosting a Vega Sicilia tasting for $115. Export Director Puri Mancebo-Lobete will be onsite with new releases. Tuesday

Barley Wine Tasting

Think you like beer, but hate wine? You probably haven't heard about barley wine--okay, it's really just a really strong ale. Whether you know you like or you just want to try, World of Beer in Coconut Creek is hosting a barley wine tasting at 7 pm. Five different barley wines will be offered in a sampler for 15 bucks.

Alina Z's Raw Uncooking Class

Sorry to break it to you, but summer is here. The last thing you should want to do is go anywhere near any form of heat. From 7 to 8 pm, Whole Foods in Boca is hosting a raw foods cooking class with raw foods chef and detox expert Alina Z. The class is 5 bucks. Advanced registration is strongly urged. Wednesday

Brown Bag Wine Tasting

Are you one of those people who say you'll drink anything? Starting at 6:30pm on Wednesdays, d.b.a cafe features a brown bag wine tasting. Bring your own bottle under $30 and the staff will bag it up and spread it around. D.b.a's Mike Lynch will be walking customers through the ins and outs of blind tastings. Reservations recommended. Whiskey Wednesdays

Hump day is pretty much the perfect time for a nice strong drink. Luckily, the Dubliner Fort Lauderdale has got you covered. Every Wednesday the bar hosts $5 whiskey Wednesday--a.k.a. wasted Wednesday. Oh, and it features live music starting at around 9 or 10 pm. But we doubt you'll even remember.

Thursday

Wine Tasting Week

Wine is always a good thing. Lots of wine is even better. As part of the chains wine tasting week, some Crown Wine and Spirits will be hosting some tastings. Running from 7 to 9 pm, the Boynton Beach and Cordova Rd. stores will be offering guests the opportunity to try gourmet foods, spirits, and over 40 wines all for $15 bucks--plus, you get to keep the glass.

It's a Battle of Chateaus: A Beer Versus Wine Dinner

From 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Bistro 1001 in West Palm Beach is hosting a battle of the beers--and wines--in a culinary showdown. The $35 dinner includes four courses and, of course, beer and wine. Call (561) 803-1908.

Oskar Blues Beer Dinner

Asian food and Colorado beer: could you think of a more fitting combination? Kapow! Noodle Bar will be hosting an Oskar Blues Beer dinner starting at 6 pm. The pairings will be led by Kapow's kitchen team under the guide of Executive Chef Caleb Holman. Tickets are $35. Advance registration is highly suggested. To purchase tickets, click here.

New Times Happy Hour

In case we've never told you, we heart you. In honor of our love, we're throwing a happy hour as a token of our appreciation. Starting at 6 pm, at American Social, we will be offering complimentary--i.e. free--light bites and drinks. All we ask is that you download the happy hour app and show us.
