Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret; there are still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to sample some wine while touring an art museum, attend a sushi tasting, or want to paint a masterpiece while drinking beer, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Monday

Lunch Starts at Avocado Grill

The Avocado Grill in West Palm Beach will be open for lunch Monday through Saturday beginning today from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (and Sunday brunch continues). That means you can get dishes like tender grilled octopus, duck tacos, and chicken paillard salad as early as you like.

Tuesday

Whole Foods Market Green Market

On Tuesday, December 16, from 4-9 p.m., visit Whole Foods Market in Fort Lauderdale at the parking lot just south of the store where there will be vendors selling products that are grown or created locally. Stop by the Whole Foods Market tent where this week they'll feature their Prepared Foods Team.

Paint & Pint Night at Saltwater Brewery

Create your own mobile masterpiece with Mobile Masterpieces this Tuesday, December 16, at 7 p.m. Saltwater Brewery in Delray Beach will be the host of a special art class for $30 per person; the event fee includes paint, materials, and instructions. Sign-up today by emailing [email protected]. Reservations are required to participate.

Tsukuro

Tsukuro in Fort Lauderdale will be hosting a special sushi tasting Tuesday, December 16

starting at 6:30 p.m. Featured sushi selections will include the restaurant's Bejeweled roll, Crispy Yellowtail roll, Heartbreaker roll, and Fire & Ice roll. Wine pairings will be served with each tasting, including a prosecco, reisling, pinot noir, and cabernet sauvignon. This exclusive experience is limited to 16 guests for $55.00 per person (includes tax and gratuity). Inner Circle members can receive a $10 discount with 250 points. Big Luscious Beer Dinner at Das Biergarten

Das Biergarten in Jupiter will be hosting a Founders Brewing beer pairing dinner on Wednesday, December 17. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the restaurant and beer bar will be offering three-course pairing dinner beginning with appetizer, main dish, and dessert for $40 per person. Thursday

Holiday Drink & Draw at Whole Foods Plantation

On Thursday, December 18, from 6-7:30 p.m. ($5 fee) spread some cheer with the Plantation Whole Foods Market's store graphic artists as they teach you how to make your own holiday décor. You'll take home a fabulous craft that you can use to decorate your home or give as a gift. The fee for the class covers the supplies, complimentary sips and snacks are provided. Space is limited; please let Whole Foods Market know you're sharing the cheer with them by registering at customer service 954-236-0600.

Parrot Lounge Christmas Party

This week, celebrate the holiday season with the Parrot Lounge staff. The Fort Lauderdale establishment will be hosting its annual Customer Appreciation Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 18, starting at 7p.m. The party will feature complimentary appetizers and tons of drink specials

The Art of Wine at Boca Raton Museum of Art

This Thursday, December 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., celebrate the art of wine with an exciting and unique wine tasting series. Discover perfectly paired wine, food, and artwork from around the world, guided by wine expert Howard Freedland and Museum curator Marisa J. Pascucci. To attend, advanced reservations are recommended. Seating is limited to 40 guests. Tickets include wine tasting, hors' doeuvres, gallery tours, and access to Late Night Thursday events at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
