Oh, the workweek: it's back yet again. Hopefully, you took full advantage of having a few days away from the boring grind of your working days. Fortunately, this week brings with it a diverse selection of events. Monday

Evening Under the Moon

People usually go crazy on the full moon, but that's kind of hard to do on Monday. For a more relaxed and luxurious lunar celebration, the Pelican Grand Beach Resort is hosting an Evening Under the Moon from 5 to 10 p.m. For $75 per person, the evening includes a prix fixe menu served on the veranda overlooking the Atlantic and, of course, the bright full moon.

Risque Rose Tasting

When it comes to rose wines, most people think of sickeningly sweet white zinfandel. Monday at 7:30, the Blind Monk is trying to help local wine enthusiasts see the world through rose colored glasses. The spot is hosting a rose tasting with tapas inspired the the blush-colored wines motherland Provence. The cost to attend is $45. RSVP is required.

Tuesday

Las Olas Dishcrawl

Kind of like a pub crawl, minus the annoyingly wasted college kids, Dishcrawl is all about consumption. Coming to Las Olas for the first time ever, Las Olas Dishcrawl is taking guests through four-courses at four different restaurants on Tuesday night starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person.

Wednesday

Beer & Balls

You're young; you're a professional; you're a beer drinker: you need to check out Due South Brewery. As part of Beer & Balls series of events, the group is meeting at the brewery from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The get-together is free to attend. Visit eventbrite.com to RSVP.

Wine Tasting

Sometimes you just need to drink wine in the middle of the week. This Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Crown Wine and & Spirits in Pompano is hosting a midweek wine tasting. For $15, guests get to sample more than 40 wines and save 20 percent on any bottle purchased.

Lobster Madness

One of the greatest things about summer: lobster season is here. To take advantage of the prolific sweet and succulent arthropod, Prime Delray is featuring Lobster Madness every Wednesday throughout the summer. From 6 to 10 p.m., the restaurant features Maine lobster for $39 per pound served with salad, fresh corn, and potatoes. The deal is good for up to three lobsters per person.

Thursday

Food Truck Invasion

Have you ever been tasked with trying to figure out a place to dine with a picky group of friends that absolutely cannot agree? Food trucks can cater to every culinary preference. On Thursday, from 5 to 9:30 p.m., Food Truck Invasion is heading to Wellington Amphitheater Park. With multiple trucks you'll be sure to please everyone's palate.

Tasteful Thursdays

By the time Thursday rolls arounds, you're probably pretty tired, and hungry. Vic & Angelo's in Palm Beach Gardens has an offering to satiate your appetite. Every Thursday the restaurant offers unlimited pasta and salad, like the V&A caesar, pear and four cheese tortellini, and more, for $14.95.

Wine Tasting at the Moon

There are some environs that just call for drinking wine. Patios overlooking the intracoastal are a wine drinker's haven. On Thursday, the waterside restaurant Blue Moon Fish Co. is hosting a wine tasting with Beringer wines. For $30 per person, wines will be paired with hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment.

The Art of Wine and Food Series

When it comes down to it, boxed wine will get you drunk on a dime, but it's not exactly classy to bring to a party. As part of the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale's Art of Wine and Food Series, certified sommelier Stephanie Miskew is teaching participants how to select great wines for less than $20. For $40 guests get to nibble on light bites while sampling inexpensive wines. Reservations are required.
