Friday

Chef Paula DaSilva at 3030 Ocean
Enjoy Executive Chef Paula DaSilva’s favorite drinks at a discount when you visit 3030 Ocean (3030 Holiday Dr., Fort Lauderdale). This includes half-off La Marca Prosecco or Bacardi Rum and coke with the purchase of any entrée. Saturday is the last day of this weeklong event, so get there before it’s too late! Hardy Park Bistro's Pop-Up Dinner Series

Hardy Park Bistro will make a quick pit stop for their pop-up dinner series at the Fort Lauderdale Fire & Safety Museum (1022 W. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). The theme of the food is appropriately “Smoke & Fire,” and created by Chef Darmon. Food items are barbecue centered and include meals such as barbecue smoked goat leg, rosemary infused smoked beef clod, smoked whole chickens and more. Prior to dinner is a cocktail hour and during will be beer and wine pairings. This smoky event begins at 7 p.m. and admission is $75. Visit hardyparkbistro.com.

Le Voyage Weekend: Spain
Travel to Spain at Cafe Boulud's (301 Australian Ave., Palm Beach) Le Voyage Weekend event. Attendees will be able to dine with a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Rick Mace as well as enjoy specialty wine pairings by sommelier Mariya Kovacheva. Battle of the Bartenders
Get ready for a showdown at M.E.A.T Eatery (980 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton) Starting at 5:30 p.m., eight bartending teams will strive for the title of Bartender BFF. The team with the most tips at the end of the event wins. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. This grants attendees two drinks and appetizers. Proceeds will benefit the Best Foot Forward Foundation, which is dedicated to helping foster children succeed. Visit bestfoot.org.

Brimstone Woodfire Grill’s Beach Party
Brimstone Woodfire Grill (14575 SW 5 St., Pembroke Pines) will host a beach-themed party complete with live music, giveaways and drink specials. Guests can enjoy $5 Coronas and $5 glasses of white sangria and prizes will be awarded to those with the best beach costume. This free event starts at 8 p.m. and ends at midnight. Back to School Brunch
You don’t have to be a student to celebrate back to school brunch at the Whole Foods in Pembroke Pines (14956 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines). American Social Three-Year Anniversary
American Social (located at 721 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will celebrate its three-year anniversary, and you know what that means: food discounts. From now until August 31, one of Fort Lauderdale’s newest bars will debut their limited edition “Three Cheers for Three Years” anniversary menu. Guests can enjoy a selection of two drinks and one appetizer for $20. For drinks, choose from Tito’s Strawberry Lemonade, Basil Smash, Not Your Father’s Root Beer Float, Pineapple Mint Caipirinha, and Ketel Blue Cosmo. For appetizers, choose from AMSO pretzel bites, truffle and wild mushroom, goat cheese croquettes, margherita flatbread, pikliz and pork tostones, and spinach and artichoke dip.
