Pop-Up Dinner at Top Hat Delicatessen
Top Hat Delicatessen (415 NE Third St., Fort Lauderdale) will host a dinner featuring chef Won Kim of Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen. The dinner will consist of five Korean-Polish courses paired with cocktails. This starts at 6:30 and costs $75. Check out our calendar article.

The Mack is Back
Craft beer haven Riverside Market (608 SW 12th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will not only be featuring Holy Mackeral's founder and owner Bobby Gordash but will also run Holy Mackeral's Panic Attack through a randall (a funnel-type tool) of coffee. Beaches and Brews
Join the World Famous Parrot Lounge (911 Sunrise Ln., Fort Lauderdale) for its monthly installment of Beaches and Brews. A $5 donation to the Everglades Angels Dog Rescue grants guests a free drink. Food Trucks at Royal Palm Beach
Royal Palm Beach Commons Park (11600 Poinciana Blvd., Royal Palm Beach) will be hosting more than 20 food trucks and will also show the movie Jurassic World. This event is from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Visit FoodTruckInvasion.com/Events.

Delay Beach Garlic Fest
A vampire's worst nightmare is this weekend, and it starts at 5 p.m. Friday and doesn't end until Sunday at 7 p.m. The 17th-annual Garlic Fest will take place at Old School Square (51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach) with ticket prices starting at $12. Included in this fest are live music, art, and plenty of garlic dishes. Home Brewery Class
Craft Beer Cartel (557 SW 12th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will allow you to brew your own beer thanks to brewer Jonathan Jackman. This month, attendees will make a dry-hopped saison and get to try samples from the last class as well as appetizers from Riverside Market. Cocktails for Humanity
General Provision (525 NW First Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will host Cocktails for Humanity from 6 to 11 p.m. Guest bartenders include Broward College President David Armstrong, Eric Barton, Jill Barton, Adriana Fazzano, Adam King, and Jonathan Schwartz. Art of Rum
While you are perusing the monthly FAT Village Artwalk (517 NW First Ave., Fort Lauderdale) from 7 to 11 p.m., you can check out mixologists creating Fwaygo Rum drinks that are inspired by the featured artists’ work. The Chef's Palate: Friends of James Beard Benefit
Enjoy a five-course dinner at Kuro (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) created by James Beard-awarded chefs and nominees. This starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets cost $250 per person. Hoffman’s Chocolates Family Fun Day
Hoffman’s Chocolates (1727 Main St., Weston) will be opening a new location in the Weston Town Center and is celebrating with a DJ, product samplings, children's activities, and more. Yoga at Bangin' Banjo Brewing

Riverwalk Chili Cook-Off
There will be a chili cook-off in Esplanade Park (400 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees not only get to try various chili but can be judges as well. Tickets cost $10 or $20. Brunch in the Garden 90
Rhythm & Vine Beer Garden (401 NE Fifth Terrace, Fort Lauderdale) will host brunch from noon to 3 p.m. The theme is the '90s with $20 bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, and Peronis. The brunch menu is from Sidecar Kitchen, and there will also be a pie-eating and bobbing-for-apples contest. Gastro Wars
Suviche Las Olas (401 E. Las Olas Blvd., Suite 150, Fort Lauderdale) will showcase a professional networking event presented by Timeline Brewery and Blck.Beer. There will be craft beer and gastro bites featured along with a “knife fight” among the guest chefs. This features prix-fixe, five-course meal and beer pairings. Winter Cocktails
Valentino Cucina Italiana (620 S. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale) is offering a winter cocktail menu that has over ten specialty cocktails.
