Yo! Listen up! Cousin Steve Martorano's got something important to teach you -- how to make the best meatball ever!

In this video, taken at the Seminole Hard Rock Wine and Food Festival, Steve shares his secrets for making the best meatball ever -- just like Mama and Nonna made back in South Philadelphia.

You ready, cuz? Take three kinds of meat -- ground beef, pork, and veal. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder (yes, powder). Now, a loaf of stale Italian bread, Italian parsley (not the useless American kind), and bread crumbs. The secret, however, is not in the sauce. It's in the gravy.

Unlike sauce, gravy is what gives the meatball the flavor. As Martorano explains, Italian gravy isn't turkey or chicken or that brown crap we use on Thanksgiving. It's a pot of goodness that sits for hours on the stove of every Italian kitchen.

What goes in it? Pork, bones, meat, pig feet, pig skin, your sister's ass -- whatever makes it taste better. Now that's a meatball.
