Even with all of the recent press clippings toting the rise of the "power vegans" (Bill Clinton and Mike Tyson included), successfully maintaining a business catering specifically to such eaters is somewhat of a magical feat.

That's why when one of these operations makes it past the initial excitement of their grand opening weekend, it's cause for some serious celebration. Case in point: Fort Lauderdale's gourmet vegan mecca Sublime.

This month marks the 4th year in business for Sublime since

re-opening after Hurricane Wilma. To celebrate, owner and animal-rights

activist Nanci Alexander has planned a series of savings for the month.

Starting

today and continuing through the month of December, Sublime Restaurant

& Bar will serve four weeks of "Four" themed savings as part of a

customer appreciation offering. Alexander says the staff wanted to give

something back to the community that has been so supportive of the

restaurant.

The breakdown of the deal is after the jump:

December 1-7: For every check of $40 or more, you will receive a $20 gift card for use on a future visit.

December 8-14: Dinner for 2 for $44. The meal includes one appetizer, two entrees and a dessert.

December 15-21: $4 appetizers with the purchase of two entrees

December 22-28: 40% off all bottled wines.
