Summer might not be until June 21, but around here, we know better. The rains have come. The heat is on. Summer is here -- end of discussion. Time to pull out the bug spray, sunscreen, and rain gear: for the next 6 months, it's going to be hot and humid as hell down here.
On the bright side, the tourists are gone and so are the heavy restaurant crowds. To show appreciation for the sweaty and fizzy-haired local residents, many spots are offering up some summer dining deal incentives.

Clay Conley's Palm Beach spots are offering a few daily specials. Buccan is hosting a fried chicken dinner every Sunday with a variety of sides such as buttermilk mashed potatoes, black pepper gravy, baked beans, jalapeno slaw, cheddar biscuits for $26.50 per person. Both Buccan and Imoto are offering "Wine Not Mondays" with half-off bottles on wine. A favorite of Radio Host Paul Castronovo, Vic & Angelo's is offering two prix fixe dining options. For lunch and dinner, Sunday through Thursday, guests can chose from two courses for $25 or three courses for $35. To help you with keeping up the bikini body, the Palm Beach seafood spot has rolled out a "Skinny Summer Menu," a lighter, half-plate three course prix fixe for $29 per person. On Thursdays, the spot will be offering an all-night happy hour.

The luxurious Palm Beach spot is offering a number of specials to entice locals for summer. Through Labor Day, it's celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a three-course prix fixe menu for lunch Monday through Friday for $20.03 -- the year of its opening. For dinner, its offering three-courses for $35, seven nights a week. Through October 7, the restaurant is waiving corkage fees for BYOB Tuesdays. And following on last year, Cafe Boulud is bringing back its Boulud Sud Pop-Up. The menu is available everyday through September 2, but a three-course prix fixe special is being offered on Saturday and Sunday nights for $35 per person. The Brazilian Court is jumping to entice locals by hosting a summer stay-cation deal. For $299, you can get a room for two, plus a three course meal at the pop-up, paired with a glass of wine.

The small tapas chain is offering a number of specials for the summer. Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 7 pm, the spot features a $4 tapas menu, $3 well drinks, select beers, and house wines, and $4 sangrias and calls. On Tuesday it's holding an all-night special with $4 tapas and sangria and $6 Mount Gay mojitos. On Wednesdays, all bottles of wine under $100 are half-off. In addition, the restaurant will be offering $4 Russian Standard martinis -- multiple varieties -- all summer long.

West Palm's favorite bistro is starting "Wine Down Wednesdays" next week with half-off bottles of wine with dinner. That can easily be paired with its three-course $29 prix-fixe menu. On Fridays, the spot brings out the bubbly with $8 glasses of Veuve from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, and $75 bottles from 9:30 pm onward.
